Serena was stunned to hear what she had heard so far, it was obvious that something was triggering him to do such bad things. But she kept her mouth shut as she continued to hear what was recorded.
"Yeah you seriously *ed up, hell I wouldn't even go that far with her if I was in your shoes."
"I...I *ed up didn't I?"
"No *-you're in jail for raping a minor dude. That ain't cool. I know damn well that Serena ain't gonna want to call you bro after this. There is all the evidence out there for them to keep you here for the max amount of time possible-which you'd be lucky to get less than eight years of prison time. While you're here things are going to change at the house, especially since I've been granted home time for the next two years. You shouldn't have done what you had to her, had you waited until I came home I would have helped you out with getting father to actually take care of Serena instead of chosing to ignore her."
They all heard Tyler sob out before he spoke up " This is *ed up! Why can't he just treat her better?! It shouldn't take me doing that to make him actually do something about her! For years now, we've had that small empty room at the top of the stairs and for what?! Serena deserves better than what she was given! She deserves better than us!"
"I can agree with you there, but it's not on us to pick what happens to her. You need to be on your best behavior from here on out alright?"
"Y-Yeah...S-sure I can do that not a problem."
"Good."
With that the recording ended and no one spoke for a bit. It was Nile that spoke up to cut the silence. "So...what are we going to do about this?"
"Depends on what part of this you're talking about." Emily said seriously
"What Tyler said." Nile stated
Serena was quiet for a moment before she shook her head. "He shouldn't have raped me no matter what his motive was. I don't feel like I can trust him ever again for what he had done to me. I once upon a time looked up to him-now knowing that he was being a complete * wad for the reason he was, it makes me not want to call him brother ever again."
The father was silent before he looked at Serena. "Are you truly musically talented Serena?"
She nodded her head. "I am. I've been in chorus since Elementary school and ever since getting into middle school I've been learning how to play the Violin and the clarinet."
Hearing what he had, he knew that he had dismissed her achievements in school for too long. He frowned as he looked at her. "When is the next time you have a concert?"
"Two weeks, it'll be the last concert of the year."
"Expect me there, I want to see just how good you are."
She shrugged. "Okay."
"Now with that out of the way, shall we get things sorted for the rooms?" Mitchel asked
"Yes, Serena's new bed set will be coming here some time today." His father stated
Serena and Emily went into their room to pack their things only for Ciel to help Serena in the end, wanting to do something productive to help the young woman out. Once they moved what little Serena had into the big room that the two of them would share there were people that had moved the bed two dressers and side table into the room. Once they finished with getting the bed together Serena went to grab the clothes that were bought for Ciel and she folded them up placing them into one of the dressers as she placed in the other what little she had to wear. Afterwards her adoptive father had taken the two of them out to get whatever bedding they wanted for their bed. Serena didn't have any type of sense of style when it came to what she wanted for her room.
Unlike Ciel who had an idea of what he wanted to do, as he looked at all of the options that they had he chose to get a pure dark blue queen set. After picking out the bedding things for the room were gotten as well before they went home. Serena did most of the work for the room since Ciel didn't know what he was doing when it came to making up a bed or decorating a room. Ciel watched Serena work on the room as he felt as if he was useless in the situation he was in. As she finished he placed a hand on her arm.
"Serena...I want to learn to do things like this. Will you teach me?"
"Uh...yeah sure. But for now just stay in here so you don't get hurt."
He puffed his cheeks out. "I'm not that weak and useless Serena, let me help!"
She shut her eyes and sighed out before she opened her eyes and looked at him. "Fine, just don't complain about what you do." She said before she left the room
Serena went to help the others with getting things from the storage down to the back room, she made sure that what she got from the storage room wouldn't hurt her as she worked twice as quickly as her other siblings. The only person who could keep up with her was Nile who saw what she was doing and matched her pace the moment he noticed what she was doing. When everything was out of the storage room Emily's things were placed within the old Storage room for her things. By that time it was time for someone to make dinner so Serena went down to make dinner.
She placed her hair up before she washed her hands. Ciel had followed her down and helped her where he could after she showed him what he could do to help her out. Part way through them prepping dinner her adoptive father took over and told them to go and rest in the living room that he would take over dinner. So they went into the living room and Serena played a game with Ciel even showing him how to go about using a controller and what certain buttons did.
After a bit the others did come down to watch them play until it was dinner time. After dinner Serena went to bed after brushing her teeth. Ciel went to bed with her since he was around the same age as her and was given the same treatment. As they were sleeping on the bed Ciel didn't like the large space between them. It was obvious that Serena was making the space between them and he didn't know why, so he moved closer to her and pulled her into him only for her to look at him startled.
"Don't worry, you're okay. I promise." He spoke softly to her. "Just sleep."
She nodded her head as she shut her eyes and snuggled against him falling asleep once more. After she had fallen asleep beside him, it took him a bit before he was able to fall asleep, as he did he could only hear things but not see anything as he heard someone talk as if they were walking around him.

Ciel woke up in a cold sweat to see that Serena was right beside him awake looking at him concerned. "A-Are you okay? You were crying in your sleep."
Ciel just pulled her closely to him as he sobbed out against her, she frowned and hugged him back and rubbed his back softly. "It's okay Ciel. It was just a nightmare."
"I really want to go home.."He said through his sobs
"I know, all of this is very strange and unfamiliar to you Ciel. But there isn't much that can be done right now." She said sadly
Ciel ended up having her sleep closer than she had been that night as he felt very wry about what was going to happen to him. He didn't think he'd ever have nightmares, but he did and he didn't know why it had to happen when he was slowly starting to find his way in the odd place he was placed into.
